We've been creating visualizations based on different sets of climate data since we started. We've combined all the well known ones in different versions for this case. The charts will be updated when new data comes in.
Kyoto Cherry Blossom Full Flower dates
Since the year 812 people in Japan have recorded the first day in the year the Cherry Blossom was in full bloom in Kyoto. Based on this record you can see some of the local climate effects.
Climate reports for 2017
Now 2017 has finished we publish all climate data reports for that year as soon as the data comes in. 2016 was a record in all series, 2017 probably will be in the top 3 in all.

In most climate data sets 2015 was the hottest year on record. 2016 already showed a lot of record breaking months. So will 2016 also break the record again? We publish the data as soon as the sets are released.

World temperature anomalies for Februari 2016
