Based on data from ICAO two graphs on the development of global passenger air traffic per year. First in absolute number (passenger kilometer traveled) for the ICAO members.

Graph with passenger kilometers per year traveled with airline members of ICAO.
Starts in 2008 at 4.5 trillion. Rises to 8.7 trillion in 2019. Then sharp drop to 2.9 in 2020 and up again to 8.2 in 2023.
